CCFC exists to express God’s love for the world and obey His Commandments through:

Empowerment

  • empower people to recognize and fulfill their potential
  • build capacity and train them for specific skills
  • model by example
  • long term commitment to cause changed lives and ensure lasting impact

Accountability

  • to each other in the team at various levels
  • to Khmer co-workers, government and communities we work with
  • Board and sending agencies
  • Use all resources gifts and donations with integrity
  • Strive to always do our best recognizing we will never be perfect

Equality

  • equal value of all people
  • respectful attitude towards host culture
  • be considerate of how CCFC intervention will impact upon the poor and marginalized

Servanthood

  • humble service to all people
  • be compassionate
  • promote healthy family and community life

Partnership

  • seek and encourage unity through co-operative relationships as/where possible (within CCFC, church, community, between agencies)
  • build respect for relationships recognizing that we can enlighten others and be enlightened by others

  • where relevant build in a strategy that will enable Cambodians to own and continue the project when CCFC project is completed
